Epic Music Video Starring Hip-Hop Artist, HaStyle: Representing Queens, New York

Image
In 2018, I was introduced to a Hip-Hop Artist by the name of HaStyle. When he and I first met, we instantly connected. It was like we had been friends for years. He is humble, creative with his words and illustrations. At the time of meeting HaStyle, I was still focused on podcasting full-time so I was able to create a live show called, "The NikiMarie Morning Show". The show was for an hour on Instagram live every Thursday morning at 11am. I would have guest on set or I would play music and read the comments from people who tuned in.  HaStyle hails from Queens, NY with a purpose of changing the current tides of Hip-Hop Music. HaStyle delivers a creative, innovative rhyme flow with clever metaphors and relevant content within his music, which elevates him above the average 1 Million and 1 “soundcloud-mixtape” rappers that peddle music. HaStyle is also a creative visual artist that provokes thought and relevant controversy through his visual art pieced featured via Ins

We hope you enjoy and continue to support the Media Assassins Podcast. He got in good with Andre Harrell’s Uptown Records camp, which lead to a working relationship with Diddy. When Diddy split Uptown and formed Bad Boy, Mo produced the bulk of the label’s early material, most notably the first

Teddy Riley VS. Babyface | REMATCH IG LIVE FULL BATTLE

Image
Video credit: Crooklyn Reactions Who else had their wine, tea, pretzels, dinner, dessert...?? I was 5 hours late to the party but I had so much fun. Good music can bring soo many people together. Doesn't matter the color of your skin, your gender or anything else. Shout out to the music legends for a phenomenal do over. Babyface and Teddy Riley took me back to my younger days... Check out the video and let me know in the comments who you voted for. I originally said Teddy had this in the bag but then Babyface played his guitar and sung an original... then he went to a song he wrote for Karyn White and I was back on team Babyface. This was such a hard choice but enjoy!

Life Before & During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Before the COVID-19 Pandemic, I was traveling back and forth to Manhattan where I was recording my Podcast shows. I was also traveling to and from my full-time job as the Associate Director of Financial Aid. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, my co-host and I recorded our first podcast episode for Media Assassins.  Our first guest was 2x Grammy Winning Producer, Easy Mo Bee. We were able to post some of the visual content on our Media Assassins YouTube channel and the audio is currently featured on Enemy Radio (via Live365) which serves as the official streaming platform of Public Enemy. Episodes can also be heard on Spotify, Anchor and Google Podcast. Easy Mo Bee spoke to us about music sampling, the song he produced for 2Pac and Biggie before their friendship ended in death and so much more.  Before the quarantine happened, I enjoyed my productive life. I was attending workshops related to entrepreneurship, financial literacy and women empowerment. My daughter and
